  • You will research all you can concerning your topic. (Details will follow!)
  • As a team, we will create 2 end products:
  1. An Environmental newspaper with your research as articles.
  2. An Environmental Web Page posted on the North Shore site, with your research.
  • Your paper should be 250 - 300 words

Topics:

Acid Rain, Wetland Destruction and Pollution, Deforestation, Ozone Depletion, Surface Level Ozone Pollution, Global Warming, Waste Management, Recycling, Beach Erosion, Energy Use and Consumption of Natural Resources, The Coalition to Save Hempstead Harbor, Li Tungsten Chemical Plant, Air Quality, Water Quality, Renewable Energy Sources, Earth Day, and Endangered Species.

Grading:

Science à Scientific Content Grade - 50 Points

Social Studies à Human Impact Information Grade - 50 Points

English à Writing - 25 Points
